Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 15 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to enjoy crafting with Sparkle. This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Colour contrast checked to WCAG AA, including our yellow buttons with charcoal text
- Body text is at least 16px and can be zoomed to 200% without breaking the page
- Every image has a text description (alt text)
- The whole site works with a keyboard, with clear focus outlines and a “skip to content” link
- Pages work with screen readers, using proper headings, labels and landmarks
- Animations are switched off if your device asks for reduced motion
- Videos only load when you choose to play them
Known issues
- Some older printable PDFs aren’t fully tagged for screen readers yet. Email us and we’ll send an accessible version.
